The second level of lax terminal 1 is departures and check-in area. Other services are: Complimentary Wi-Fi at lax map, shoe shine, family restroom, and several food, drink and retail concessions.
Lax terminal 1 serves AirTran Airways, Southwest, and US Airways. Lax terminal 1 contains gates 1-13. With a $508 million upgrade underway, anticipate a new terminal design with expanded views, a modernized concourse, 24 new retail and dining concepts in the works and a renovated arrival baggage claim area in the Lax terminal 1 map.
