Since the LA coliseum opening in June 1923, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has become one of the world most important sporting venues, home to international athletes and legendary games. The LA coliseum has also hosted many historical figures and countless special events. The Coliseum was declared a National Historic Monument of LA map on July 27, 1984.
